Merry Christmas!

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas!

Hope you enjoy this song, "White Winter Hymnal" by the Fleet Foxes - it always makes me think of wintery days when I hear it :)

Knitting Rock'n'Roll!

Enjoy! :)

Birthday-ness!

Just for fun, because it's my birthday today, and I happen to adore Miffy...

Enjoy!

Show us yer Knitting!

It's Worldwide Knitting in Public Day! Not forgetting International Yarn Bombing Day too. (I don't think this is a coincidence somehow...!)

My suggestion is to get together with friends and kill two birds with one stone - make some knitted graffiti and decorate your local neighbourhood!

I'm definitely not a religious person. If I did have to choose a religion, I believe it would have to be music. It really does make life worth living (for me at least). Continuing with that metaphor, this song would have to be one of my hymns. It's a truly beautiful piece of music which has really resonated with me recently.

I also love the music video, a stunning animation which fits the song so well. It has a wonderfully organic feeling to it.

Enjoy! Have a great rest-of-weekend :)

Pinch, punch - first of the month!

Day Five: And now for something completely different...

I decided to create a flash animation for today's post - I made two variations but couldn't choose between them, so I have uploaded both!

Yarn-obsession + knowledge of flash = Yarn animation! (Yarnimation?!)

I'm doing a little train travel to London & St. Albans this weekend, as my uncle is getting married, and am very much looking forward to it. I also have some exciting news to share when I get back, so watch this space ;)

Here's a little something different for the weekend...enjoy! (via here)
